Rock the Hotel California in Ojai!

On Saturday, October 22^nd, Don Felder, former lead guitarist for The Eagles and co-writer of the monster hit Hotel California, is performing at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai in a special concert to benefit healthcare facilities in Ojai and Ventura.

The funds raised by this event will support Community Memorial Health System construction projects: building a new Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura and a new Continuing Care Center in Ojai.

Major Event Trailers was part of the opening of the new CMH parking garage in Ventura last month. They threw a great party and we’re delighted to be invited to be a part of this event, as well. They have engaged us for our VIP restrooms, and we are upgrading from VIP up to the ADA-accessible trailer for this event. It’s a great feeling to be part of a community event like this one.

Nothing’s too good for your royal behind.

Our Luxury 3-Station Portable Bathrooms include soap dispensers, laminate walls with oak trim, interior lighting, tank level visual sight level indicator for waste tanks, easy fold up aluminum steps and air conditioning and heat. We also offer ADA-compliant family-friendly portable restroom trailers that are equipped to serve individuals with disabilities and families with small children. The women’s restroom interior features three private flushing toilet stalls, purse hooks and changing tables. The men’s restroom interior is equipped with two waterless urinals and one private flushing toilet stall. The large separate, private ADA-accessible/family-stall is equipped with wheelchair ramps, handrails, sinks, and changing tables. (We have shower trailers, too!)

Ventura’s CMH celebrates new parking structure completion!

Opening our business in Ventura, while still being able to service surrounding areas and beyond in Southern California, has turned out to be a great experience for us. On Tuesday, September 13^th, we were invited to bring our VIP trailer to the ribbon cutting at the brand new Community Memorial Hospital (CMH) parking structure.  It really was a party!

"This event was to celebrate a milestone in the building of the new CMH, the Midtown Parking Garage. The garage will service patrons of the local businesses and hospital visitors. Friends, neighbors and supporters of the hospital were invited to join in the festivities. We had great food from Yolanda’s and Scooters BBQ with drinks from MadeWest Brewing Company and Gone West Cellars. The Ventura Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting to honor this event.” - Lindsey K. Stetson

The completion of the Midtown Parking Structure off Brent Street was a milestone in Ventura’s rapidly growing history. The garage with its 571 spaces will provide much-needed parking spaces for hospital visitors and patrons of the nearby local businesses. You might be interested to know that the 180,500 square-foot structure was built through a partnership with the city of Ventura providing the land and CMH paying about $12 million to foot the bill. An end is in sight for endlessly circling blocks to find a legal place to park.

Had a great time at the last National Association for Catering and Events party!

Last week we had a great time attending the monthly member event for the Ventura chapter of NACE, the National Association for Catering and Events at the Limoneira ranch. Major Event Trailers was the July Spotlight Member!

We featured our top of the line luxury ADA Accessible restroom trailer. It was great meeting new business professionals in our area. The evening was filled with great food & tasty drinks by Plated Events and yummy desserts by Delicious Artistry. The band Dirty Rice got the party started playing reggae music that brought everyone out on the dance floor!

There were many other wonderful members who sponsored the event by sharing their talents and services. Best of all, everyone raved about the comfort and style of our ADA restroom trailer!

We were happy to be a part at another amazing event with The Karl Strauss Brewing Company!

Bottoms Up!

The Karl Strauss Brewing Company hired us again to bring our portable facilities to their Arts & Amps event featuring Little Hurricane this last Saturday, July 23rd. This event was part of a series, and took place in the Karl Strauss Brewery and Tasting Room in Pacific Beach. They served up fresh shrimp tacos and smoked pork belly as well as X-Wings and fresh Ahi Poke. Luckily there was great beer to wash it all down!

At this event we provided our deluxe VIP Portable Restroom Trailer. The day went off without a hitch. You might also be interested in the 3-Station Restroom Trailer and our ADA-Accessible Restroom trailers we offer. We have portable showers, too! Call, we’d love to talk with you.

In addition to the sound of the gritty and down-home 21st century blues-rock duo, Little Hurricane, we saw fabulous work from the Cohort Collection, an artist driven collective based in San Diego that provides support and exposure to emerging artists.
